The Northumberland Coast

The Northumberland coast is beautiful, vast and has been described as some of the best coastline in the UK. Take a trip to the Northumberland coast to enjoy wonderful views and long sandy northern beaches.

Northumberland’s coast consists of a massive 30 plus miles of sandy unspoiled beaches. Northumberland’s coast not only provides gorgeous sandy beaches but also friendly towns with some delightful places to eat and drink. There are many great spots to grab some delicious freshly cooked fish and chips that will please all!

There are numerous places to spend time including Amble, Newbiggin, Alnmouth and Seahouses all with their own special charms that will make a day out at each memorable.

The balance of things to with the feel of having your own freedom is what makes the Northumberland Coast so special. For those seeking adventure, there are caves and cliffs to explore at Howick where you can even try coasteering giving you a real sense of being a part of the Northumbrian elements.

Bursting with sandy beaches, rocky dunes, and scenic landscapes that remain almost untouched due to the number of the population being sparse, the Northumberland Coast and the isolated islands within its territory are truly gifts from nature.

The Northumberland Coast does not only prides itself with scenic landscapes and beautiful beaches, but it is also overflowing with rich history dating back to 7,000 years ago, with also many castles built on this coast compared to the other places that can be found in England. Among the notable castles built in Northumberland are Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth. Aside from Castles, the Northumberland Coast is also rich and diverse in wildlife.

A spectacular attraction not far from the  Northumberland Coast are the gardens being cultivated, specifically the Alnwick Gardens where you can find the most poisonous and dangerous plants to huge Treehouses with luscious greeneries to suit and soothe your tastes and senses.
