Hauxley Beach, Northumberland

Nestled in between Amble and Druridge Bay the Hauxley Beach is another fantastic beach to visit in Northumberland.

The beach sits next to Hauxley Nature Reserve and the Coquet Island can be seen just off the coast. A pleasant walk can be had along the footpath just above the beach that leads onto the small residential area and caravan park.

When the tide is out the beach is quite wide and boasts golden sands this makes it a popular spot for those walking dogs or just looking for some peace and quiet on the Northumberland Coast.

With Amble just north of Hauxley Beach it can be worth a visit for fish and chips or a look around the fishing village.
